I have used these shirts for years primarily as an undershirt. They are long enough to easily tuck in and yes snug enough to wear under a summer or winter weight shirt. There is virtually no shrinkage after washing so they can be used for a long time. Also softer and more comfortable than 100% cotton shirts.

I wear these a lot and have bought more a few times now. They are the most consistently solid shirts I can find for a low price. They are comfortable and I don't get any random threads coming out after a few washes.

This is a a great shirt for the price. We used them to make fun shirts for family members for Christmas. They are just as they look in the picture and size wise they are perfect.
